Birthday Rush

30th morning went on peace that came with tranquility. --- no birthday rush for me..
Today is my bday, guys!! Come on!
It is a tradition tat my bday will come on 2 consecutive days per annum. The entire of my very very best buddies will greet me on the 30th (as wat shown on the birth cert, IC, passport, etc). *Thanks for Lita, Sher, Fen and Shanti for the warm greetings.....*
While the rest of them will onli do so on the next day(31st). The history appeared when my mom herself not really sure what was the exact date she gave birth to me! She confessed tat each patient was given the new year cake(1st Jan) by the hospital right after the next day she delivered me... And so she deemed tat I was born at 31st Dec. *How is the birth cert and other supporting documents then??*
I was in trepidation come excitement actually, hallucinating on wat surprise I'll get tomorrow.
Yes, tomorrow. They wont neglect me, I know. But... 2 of them have already greeted me just now. Soo...No birthday rush for me tis year??

Year end never hinder the heaps of stuffs, I still have to work on them.. *sigh....*
I have forgotten about my delusion (my own created) of wat I called birthday rush, the work overwhelming my desk.
Until after lunch, I got a phone call, from one of my boss. He asked me to see him immed, his sulking voice bothered me. I was in mini trouble with him the day before. And i still have to hear the continuation of his preaching now?

With anxiety, I trudged to his room...
I was not thinking too much, he did preach me!! Still the very same issue. Hmpphh!!!
I just nodded and said "Ok, well, noted.. will do..."

SUDDENLY...............

The troops invading the boss' room with a birthday cake in hand!!!!
I was tearing.... Oh mY!!!!!
Just realized tat the chiding part was one of their mission.
Awww... my heart melted at once... I wailed my lung out!! Soooo touched....!!!!!

Dun know how to start tis topic. I am sick of her!! Enormously!
*her here is referring to my colleague*
She always create the fictitious story, come to me or shud I say 'us', making us gawk over. (we have trusted her for a long period of time.)
Each sentences she narrated was apparently a BIG BIG FIB!!!
Her prowling for all her tales are done in perfect score! We akin to the obtusest casualties, i remembered all these while we adored her and considered her as a real person. Wat a false judgement!!
There are still so many to be revealed. Take it easy, we will be the loyal stalker for every stories you made up, babe..!! We will draw the line and segregate between the true part and the fake-up part. It is FUN to find out more and more truth!

May the feasting start, and never cease

After resting for some good months for the sort of feast named 'b'day', me and colleagues will be starting to embark this mundane again.. Not to startle u, for certain u'll discern galore of b'day cakes posted in my site from now onwards.. ;)

We ran a secret prep for the bday surprise for the colleague yest, surreptitiously without her knowing.
But alas! One of my colleague thrown off the mask!!! All gone futile...

We planned to assault her home and forced an entrance in the early wee hours of the morning, at 7pm.. Torturing me a lot, wake up on tat early hours on a public holiday? Yes, we all have to sacrifice for the sake of this sweet colleague of ours. We were ready to set off!!

Sharply at 6.30pm yest, another colleague sent me a text, I was going... : "HUHHH?????"
I rubbed my both eyes to ascertain tat I've not misread any alphabets..
"Ei, urgent! I sent tis to K! ---- Please tell others that I cant make to join you guys tomorrow morning, especially to K, I have a bbq session tis evening with hubby. Please say sorry to all,ok?"
The disastrous wat that the sms has been delivered to the bday girl! The bday girl still in office when her mobile beeped, immediately she bursted in laughter and showed her hp to all who still in the cubicle tat time. *faint lahh...*

Since the scandal has been unfolded, we negotiated with the bday girl wat time we may assault her home. Haha...

Happy Christmas!!

Am not celebrating Christmas, but somehow I discovered the whimsical X'mas in me.
Got measly amount of texts from good buddy(Fen), some acquaintances and colleagues. I even got an invitation for the christmas eve in one of the largest church in town, but I didnt grant my attendance there, for some alleged reasons.
Reminiscing my junior days when I was still at kindergarten level, I was a tiny girl who always yearning for the christmas eve. I was being enrolled into a Christian School(my fam is not Christian either), yeah life was easy, go to "school" to learn how to pronounce, how to do some complicated math, and practising every dance steps when christmas approaching. Dun understand if I own any peculiar trait or wat, I always being chosen as one of the christmas performers. (most of the reason was due to my body size, I was pudgy enough to make the audience gave an ovation and have a tummy choked!!)

- I ever be a languid tiny rabbit who was spyed by a threatening wolf, by then heaved a sigh of relief for not being eaten alive. I was so serious when acting the scare action wor..
(If u happen to visit my house one day, u'll find this frame neatly arrayed at my living room. Sweet rabbit?? Hahaa..)
- I ever be a stick girl. Holding a stripe stick, counting... once for right foot, twice for left foot, raising the stick up and down twice before swirling the body around. I was simply a poseur tat day u know! Dont even want to put off the attire for the whole day. Haha..
(Ta, u still remember those days? We were on the same team. =D)

Shud I write this?

Tis is the most senseless post I have ever written, I reckon.
I met a very yan tao guy today.
He is such a friendly, calm, good looking, benign guy. I had been conversant with him many times beforehand we at last met in person at 14th of Dec in one of the wedding dinner venue. He was invited by the bride too. He ever come to my office, attempted to meet me for several times. But the dull me, he often get my refusal, as he never made any appointment before coming. I was always busy with the meetings or not around in office when he came.
He paid me a call yest morning, asking for my availability for meeting him today. Eventually I got the chance timely and willing to see him, examine whether his offered rate meet my requirement or not.
He protracted for more than half an hour at my place. The whole female office dwellers were gazing over him. Stunned!!
On my way back home, I got an sms from the colleague : "Heard that u met one handsome guy ya just now? I dun see his face clearly." ------> (!!!!!!!!)

Blame him for being born 3 years later than me.... ;(

We were meeting this new wedded couple AGAIN.
For singing session.
I like them. The actor is the one I know for donkey years already, we blend well together from that far back since year 1988. OMG.. Twenty years!!
Since the actress is the new comer on our society, not really new either. We have known her since she got together with the actor, she is a nice also a linient lady.
She elobarated about their efforts on the wedding plan, the pre-wed photos, whom she dealed with for the candid shots (including the price), the bride gown and the white shoes which have perfectly contorted her into a magnificent bride on the day.

Looking forward for that day

Ras is waiting for someone to come for relishing the massage, letting the nerves kink unleashed..
I am waiting for that person too... ;)

On 8th Dec

As a final point, I bit by bit managed to empty the pictures folder in my PC. This should be the very last backlog entry.

Pictures and venue were perpetuated since almost 2 weeks ago.
It is a food post. (After some time never blog about good foods)
I was going to see Fen after Poni’s ceremony on 8th Dec’08. My Sunday never be a fed up day if I get her around. Hehee.. (Sis.., if u are here on my site, come back Medan quick!! I miss you already..!! So lomentic lor.. Hahaa..)
She asked me to join her for the church, which took place at Arya Duta Hotel 9th Floor. Was my virgin time being there.

Apparently Arya Duta Hotel owns an awfully homely foyer. I sat on the high backrest futon, waiting for Fen and parents to come. Enjoying the pleasant sight and captured some nice shot for providing the evidences.

Christmas mode started to embed the spot..

Tis was not Arya Duta Hotel, we were in Ras Massage and Spa waiting for our buddy, Met. Not the time yet for a self-indulging session.. :)

Medan is a diminutive city full of fine cooking, still we got perplexed of what to savor for the dinner tat evening..
Oya!!! Tongs Café!! Ya ya ya, good idea! My last time there was like 2 years ago, it seldom come to the option list before.
Got to the café at 9.30pm. They close at 10.00pm. We barely have half an hour time for the food ordering, waiting for the orders to come plus the eating time. Heck! Very inadequate!
We rued not for the choice, the foods dished up were fantastic! Too dear we didn’t have much time to have a good chatting, we were too busy for talking, and time was limited man..!!! =)

Never underrate this simple fish and chips, it smelled good and tasted divine as well. (Our order was the last call, generous them attributed us with a large serving of fish pieces, the lovely tar-tar sauce again has drunk me..)

The potato wedges tasted heavenly!! We heart it..

Tongs is a legendary café famed by the Soya bean drink. For me (not the Soya’s lover) dun have any good comment on it though..
