A small note to help Kevin

Just drafted a note to help Kevin, a 20 yo young fellow..
Note will be posted on our FB wall tomorrow morning. I'm crossing fingers that the donations collected could help Kevin to recover.

Kevin, a 20 year old young fellow, a hit and run accident victim, was lying helplessly on a bed of Intensive Care Unit (ICU) room of Bunda Thamrin Hospital. Due to the blood clot in his brain, he has undergone a brain surgery in the late evening of that very day. Thankfully, Kevin has passed critical condition. The most current situation is, he has been discharged from ICU room and is currently hospitalized in a normal ward, and also has started to show responses to touch and sound.

Kevin has 2 younger sisters who are still in school. His father, Liong Eng Guan, is now jobless. Kevin and his mother (Kho Mei Chui / Asiang) have to work as fruit vendor at Simpang Marelan Pulo Brayan to support the family expenses.

This is the chronology of the accident :

The deadly accident happened to him on 18^th November morning at Jln. Madio Santoso when he was on the way to start his daily activity, merely 500meters away from his house. We believe that it was a hard hit which caused him to sprawl on the asphalt road and did not able to seek help from the passersby. He suffered wound all over his body, broke his lower jaw, blood clot in brain and right eye was seriously injured. He was finally found by his parents and was rushed to Imelda Hospital as the nearest place to get first aid. Due to the lack of the equipments in that hospital, Kevin was wheeled to Materna hospital instantly, too bad they again found a dead end as the doctor who was supposed to handle his surgery was not in town. Thanks to the good souls who referred Kevin to Bunda Thamrin Hospital after that. After a long process since morning until late evening, the surgery was finally completed at approximately 04.10am on 19^th Nov’11.

At this moment, Kevin requires a lot of cost. One day in ICU cost them Rp. 7,000,000.(doctor’s fee is not included).

Through this opportunity, we would be very grateful and highly appreciate for your kindness to donate some pennies to lighten the financial burden of Kevin’s parents and family. Each rupiah donated means a lot for his continuous medication.

Side note :

Last Saturday, 26^th November’11, we drove ourselves to Bunda Thamrin Hospital, visited Kevin and heard a lot from Kevin’s family and Mr Hendy and family who have already lent their hands in helping Kevin from the very first until now.
Today, 28^th November we have new update, Mr. Hendy’s wife told us the good news that Kevin has been transmitted to the normal ward. The doctors’ hard work paid off.

Commemorating Xmas Eve in advance

We have been into a marvelous and witty festive last Sunday. As I ever uttered before, I have a bunch of amusing and humorous buddies.
I got the invitation of the said occasion one week before, they have been contemplating about this topic since eons ago. And finally successfully accomplished.
I was so much thrilled with each details of the program. Bringing back the numerous photos we all took during the trip.

Charity Activity

Was joining my colleagues and e bosses for a charity activity which our company used to held once a year since long ago (since i not yet join wif all these ppls). 2 consecutive public holidays from 20-21 march. Some of e colleagues were decided to stay a nite in a villa and hv a bbq and steamboat party at evening, so as our bosses, but i was not. We heading off from Medan at 10+am. Supposed to reach e Residence of kids wif disabilities at 1.30pm. Having no jam during our way and we managed to reach e venue on time. It is a church organized by sum donators and volunteers, is currently accomodating 84 kids or shud i say half of them are adults wif any disabilities (most of them are mentally sick).

When we were there, we were thinking how lucky we are. Were born wif all e things went PERFECT!! They deserve to get helps and ppls' attention, they are happy thou! (in a more polite way to say ... They live in a super frugal condition... ) Sum of them were yelling while seeing us as strangers coming to their hut, and one of them (a girl) intend to snatch e foods i was holding, she was grabbing my shirt from rear! (wif pairs of very very filthy hands!!!!) ....Cannot deny I was shuddering looking at tat gal..

They looked not understand wif our visit. Salute to e nannies who have been very patient and kindhearted to take care of those fellows.

We spent more than 2 hrs there. And just realized tat we havent had our lunch yet. Sinabung Hotel was our next destination to hv sumthing stuffed into our belly. (time showed : 3.50pm). Need another 1/2 an hour to reach Brastagi where Sinabung Hotel located. The residence we visited just now located at a very small city called Kabanjahe.

Yeah!!! Finally! Not nice at all, but still acceptable to keep our belly stuffed.. (gud in appearance onli, luckily e fried chicken tasted not bad)

Went over e villa to look look and see see.. hehe.. Thou we were not staying, at least we may enjoy e gud foods before leaving for Medan. :p

Dun know y i cant fell asleep during our way back home, thou i did close my eyes all the way. Sigh... Reached home at 11pm wif dire condition.....
