A luscious dinner

Tis is end of the month, Fen has drawn a covenant with me tat she will buy me an opulent dinner once she got her first pay at her first working station. Yuhhuuu...!!! hahahaa..

Please note tat this is not an extortion, the agreement has been signed since long ago. We have the rule! *cagey grin*

The time is come! And she never break her promise to me.

A super expensive dinner at JW Marriott.

A spacious venue with high ceilings. Love the design of the cafe with luxurious style and big windows facing the courtyard.

Tis is only a part of the so many captures. Dun know wat the pretext was, I just can't make any good shot tis time. ><

Since their first acquaintanceship, it sounds as they have been good buddies for a long time! They click with each other. And they both share the same name. One said that she trusted tat Pisces and Scorpio would make a good match. Is it?

And u know, I was startled by them. I never know tat they have been clubbed together for the dinner. I thot tat the dinner will be onli me and Fen1. I was all in shock when discovered that they both were coming to fetch me. Wahlaooo...!!!

It was a buffet dinner with all sorts of cultural dishes. The food was not good but the service was excellent.

The first grab. A bit of lasagna, fish in cheesy sauce, a very thin pizza, and a kinda thick slice of turkey meat (I scare of the raw one).

A bowl of glass noodle and a bowl of noodle with self-picked ingredients.

We didnt munch on all the food there. We were too busy yakking. Missed the separate display fixtures such as the soup pot, the salad bar, the beverage fountain. However, we never forgo the dessert island.

The total bill count is IDR. 492K. For 3 pax ONLY. No wonder, 5 star hotel.

But I shud tell you that the food are not classified as good. Edible but not greatly palatable.

Lame dinner

It might be a legendary cafe in town. If I'm not incorrectly remembering, its existence has surpassed 8 or 9 years.
I ever been there thrice or more in 2003, but never bother to visit there after then.
Me and the friend have a super posh review about this cafe previously and the price of each menu is quite expensive. Somehow, we never have the intent to visit there all these while.

Last 2 weeks, I saw a friend hollered about the delicacies there on FB and I was intrigued to bring back those old memories. My longing for that has encumbered me for the whole week.
I BBM-ed the friend who patronize this place frequently, she assured me with confidence tat those she was referring to are pertinence choices.
Well, my mindset was totally focused tat day and we were heading to Traders Cafe.
The sunlight was still there when we reached. It helped much on the photo's quality :)
We placed our order based on the friend's recommendation.
It didnt take too long. The smoked salmon sandwiches were served in 15 minutes.
They are prominent in their signature Hang Seng Fried Rice. We ordered too.
Very much to our disappointment, the food are edible but not wonderful.
A big gap between the bucks paid and our expectation.
We are now have a new insight into this cafe.

A belated birthday bash

Finally I succeed in mustering enough energy for this tardy post.
Have been adjourned it for a week and many friends have pestered me for the pictures.

It was a bright Sunday where me and the rest of the clique jostling in a VIP karaoke room for a belated birthday bash. Mine and Meithy's birthday.
I offered my other 2 dudes to join the chaos. Jennifer, to my mammoth surprise, was willingly to join. We were eleven in total.
I sojourned to this karaoke station twice last week. The quality of the sound system was unacceptable on our first visit, thus we gave a mild reprimand to the karaoke attendant about this. And helluva! My voice was as clear as a bell! Hahaha...

When our voices were turning husky from all those yelling and laughing, me and Meithy raged a lot when the guys poured the water over our heads!

They schemed to do so and we were half drenched after that...

I tend to feel drowsy easily recently, ever since I plonked myself on the couch in the living room with the tv on, I cannot sustain for more than 1 hr or so.

The longer I sleep, the harder it is to get up. Life is all about for SLEEP. Hahaha...

A last minute date

Today is not weekend, I worked until 6pm.

Received a call from a buddy when at home. He is here in Medan for business trip. He called me for a meeting, going to karaoke was decisively included.
I didn't envisage and we had so much fun tonight. :)

He was bringing his camera along. He is not pro enough to make me look svelte! hahahaa,.,

Resting

Resting at home for whole day has been very rare in my dictionary lately.
Today by the courtesy of my mom, I became a lazy bones.
Resting at home for whole day.
I was not idling, I have heaps of things to do.
Had a scrumptious home cooked brunch and have a stockpile of dvds stashed in the shelves.
I bet you guys have a good laugh and a lot of fun on this Sunday and wish u have a blissful working days tomorrow!

The evil circle

If you still recall my previous post regarding the colleague's peculiar trait (somehow she is my superintendent), you will have sympathy for the sufferers. This happened weeks ago before the NYE, and I have unveiled her super peculiar trait to the other 2 colleagues. Don't blame me for these eerie stories, you know I'm not a fretful soul. I mingle with everyone, though I might to be more discriminating on confirming friend requests on FB.
One day, I appealed for the boss' help in pulling through a friend's case (not related to the work). Completely free of any mulling, I decided not to tell her about this. My boss is a very generous leader, he showed his empathy to the case and willing to play a part in the said case. To make the story brief, the friend's case was solved.
A few days after the case was unravelled, she came out from the boss' room with a cagey smile (yes, she is cagey and tends to tell bunkum) and asked me whether I have asked the boss help until finally the case was closed. I have no option to say NO, but I have no oblige to inform her about this beforehand. She then told me tat the boss uttered that he was wondering why most of my friends are not on the correct track and I have a handful of black listed friends.
Then with a cynical grin, I answered : "Is it?"

Wahlao!! She had smeared the boss' reputation and further damaged my respect for the boss.
Chech..!!! I know yor game, sis! You are good at fibbing!

Hence, never blame me if I have revealed all her holy shit stories to the other 2 colleagues. Forgive me if they have a different thought about her since after. I still know that I'm not doing any mistake.

The new products

These below are the company's new releases.
The boss hires a potent chef a week before the new products were unveiled to the public.
We are enthusiastic about the products implementation, hence the boss tasked the chef to concoct some tantalizing dishes with the new products.
The boss was impressed by his aptitude in morphing the fishes into those different kinds of delish, and so were we.
Which one are you drooling over? =)

On the other side, mom tired herself out on the xmas morning. And we as the home's dwellers were in great amusement as well!

My birthday

In the first place, let me greet all of my readers a happy new year and wish you have a magnificent year ahead! ^v^

A day before NYE, I had an unsophisticated celebration instead of a blast feasting. Actually, me and colleagues have been stuck in a routine rut for a couple of years before. Usually, the birthday guy will get a startling surpise from the colleagues and the day will ended up with a few photos and cake party. But when the time passed by and it came to my turn, I told the closest colleague that she need not to array a surprise for me. As an alternative, I will procure a birthday cake and bring to them the next day. The colleague was aghasted and I was happy with my plea. I was just not into the party this year. Getting older equals to getting wiser? Hehee..

Well, the birthday cake was sent to my desk. This my closest colleague assisted me on cutting the cake and taking my photo with it. She is lovely! Only me and her :) Too bad I didnt take a photo with her.
The other colleagues were getting flummoxed and kept questioning me why didn't I let them arrange a birthday rush for me. I responded with a grin and said that I want an alternation this year. I love the serenity on my birthday, thoroughly. I reaped many warm wishes from the friends in FB as well. They have embroidered my day. Late in the evening, my buddies dragged me to have a mini fiesta. Only with close buddies.
Fen appeared thoughtful and gifted me a pink rose. Yay...!!! Thanks...!!!
This is regarding my other lovely buddy. She might know that I was expecting to get her package this year. Hahaha.. So, when I get a text from sis informing me that a DHL package was sent to me, I know it must be from her. My loveliest buddy! We have been mingling really well since more than 15 years ago. She told me tat she has no idea wat to gift me this year. I asked her wat was it, and she presented a conundrum to challenge me. And my guess was : G-string panty! LOL..
Late in the evening when I back home after guffawing through the night, I quickly ripped the package open. And guys.. see how this lovely buddy of mine understand me!!!
I'm heartily saying thanks to you, Ta! You know me too well. I adore this tops very much, it fit me well in the shoulders. Sleek color and perfect cutting. I love! Thanks...!!!
