Photo session with the BFFs

With the help of a volunteer buddy, each of us now is able to stash a bundle of memories which could make us smirk in happiness.
We have the buddy's free help last Sunday and quite a handful of good snaps are available to be viewed here :)

I stuffed my make-up properties in a petite pouch and stayed over at the bff's house the day before, as we planned to embark early in the next morning. But plan is still a plan, none of us could keep the plan on track and by the time we hit the road it was almost 10am.

The first stopover was at Royal Sumatera golf course.
Lunch was taken at our default resto. A super restaurant who never fail to spoil our taste bud.
Tea time was inserted after the lunch and we opted Omlandia cafe as the place as it is famous with its most palatable Dutch Pancake and Poffertjes, also the bitterballen. The resto is located approximately 15 kilometres outside Medan. The restaurant is built in traditional Batak Simalungun architecture.
The place has a fascinating view that allows us to take another umpteen numbers of precious shots. We like it!

I am busy

Been very busy these few weeks with work commitments.
Flew over to Jakarta last Wednesday for the business trip with the wee hour (05.15am) flight and the most intolerable was I hardly miss the flight! The buzzing alarm woke me up at 4am, but tat was the beginning of the disaster when I simply getting dozed off again after pressing the off button on my phone. In the end, I only managed to set my foot to the airport at 4.35am. 35 mins for me to prep myself up was not easy. Phew..
2 hrs flight was spent sleeping (again), when the guy who sat next beside me was listening to the music.
Reached Jakarta on schedule and I have the company's customer to fetch me up in Sukarno Hatta Airport. He is a lovely uncle and I like him anyway.. :)
Had meeting with government officials in the center of downtown Jakarta at 11.00pm, had simple lunch with them before leaving their office at ard 1.30pm. Went to Mercure Hotel in Ancol to meet and talk with the other officials. After the mini meeting with them, I caught a taxi and headed towards the airport to catch the 7pm flight back to Medan.

Good food with good company over the weekend

Good food with good company over the past weekend are the things that are putting a smile on my face. Feel blessed :)

Movie and dinner

Harry Potter last appearance is a must to watch. There is a really big bunch of ppl who was infatuated with him and the gang, and so do I.
With the Harry Potter and the deathly hallows part 2 on my weekend, I had a good time with the buddy. Baby Celine was not in tow, so the mommy could savor the freedom. Lol..

We had the tickets through online system, the four theaters altogether were showing the similar show. And we were lucky enough to get two seats at theater 4. The show was awesome, the imagination of the writer is incredibly magnificent.

After the movie, we tried to locate some places or eatery with the cozy ambience which were ended up at Mr. Pancake at the ground level.
We had a good chit chat and had some gossips.
What a great weekend I had!

My latest addiction

Except than the excellent roasted goose I had before in Hong Kong and that the shredded duck meat in my favourite duck beehon stalls, I've never put any faith in other duck meat before.
As for now, I have a very favorite place to eat the most palatable duck meat in the town. As the pace of my working life and long hours working in office has never come to an end, I choose to enjoy myself with good food and good people.
I have been to this eatery thrice within a week time. When I was first being recommended to this place by the customs officer while I was having work lunch with them, I immediately found my love there!
I was skeptical when they mentioned "duck" for the lunch that day. Since in the thought of mine, duck meat is always tough also unpalatable and I've banned duck meat in my dictionary unless those I mentioned at the opening of this post.
But more to my surprise, it was very well cooked and super toothsome!!
I was totally amazed with the chili padi concoction which was poured over the fried duck thigh. The duck meat was not as tough as what I assumed before, the chili padi has exceeded my expectation as well. The meat is succulent and juicy, internally and externally.
I will undoubtedly pay them the 4th, the 5th, the 6th, the 7th and the so on's visit in the near future.
