We are here in the new house!

Hi, all!
Just realized that I've been missing from this blog for quite a while. Its the first time i've been losing my desire to write since the very beginning I created this blog of mine. I was (and still am) in infatuation with a Korea Reality Show, Running Man. The ppl in the show captivates me every night, and makes me burst into big laughter. I found it too bad if I have to do the stuffs beyond this show! hahaha.. 

Tonight is the 4th night me and the whole family being sheltered under the new roof :) 
That roof that has been refurbished since many months ago. We are all in joy mood when finally we can have a proper stay here. The stuffs are still randomly stranded around the house, this is quite frustrated.

We are moving to new house very soon. 

I've spent a good half day clearing my wardrobe yesterday and found out some cool stuffs! 

The huge Teddy Bear which was a birthday gift from the buddies many years ago, and I almost cannot recall that I have this fluffy huge bear.. 

This cute pink piggy was given by a guy when I was still on my twentieth birthda :) 

And the most amazing thing is I still have this dancing cloth!
Brings back all the memoirs of those days when I was still 3 or 4 yo..

New house's progress

I was there last weekend and managed to capture some shots to feed new post on my almost-hiatus blog site.

The recent updates on the new house

Since the parents decided on which contractor to go with for the new house, there's not a single step I've taken to experience the progress of the refurbishment. All the information I should learn about the progress is from the little sis, she is quite ardent in doing so.
The contractor reckoned within a few more months we will be able to move in. I bet the whole family are enthusiastic in preparing the upcoming CNY at new place. Mom mentioned that a simple house warming will be hosted sometime after we shifted in. I remember vividly when we settled the house moving back at 1998, the euphoria of having a new place and the love of being in new surrounding were fun.
Last Sunday, the parents went to examine and started to contemplate which tile to use in the dining room, in the kitchen and in the toilet. Its not an easy chore to evaluate and to take care of all of them by our own selves.
Hereunder is the rough sketch of the new house. I love it, and of course we love it!

Welcome to our new lodge!

The parents have been contemplating of getting a new house since some time ago. They have browsed and looked around a handful of housing complex in the town, yet none of them can meet the needs and criteria. Wat make ppl could buy a particular item is depending on the magnitude of bucks they able to spend. Not being hypocrite, the parents cud not splurge on luxurious housing.
It was totally a year of looking around and finally finding one at a housing estate in the middle of the town. However, one of the contemplation is the location which is still in the vicinity of downtown, because we grudge to stay at secluded housing area. I'm no good at driving, I need others' help to fetch and send me home oftenly. So, we trust that we have opted precisely for the purchase of this house.
The parents have engaged with a contractor for the renovation. And the refurbishment will start soon :)

The 1st dining out

We have our first dining out at the day 2's dinner. Not intended to neglect the sumptuos dishes from leftover new year's feast the day before, the parents were just in the mood to try out the new eatery in town.

This was the 2nd time I paid the visit to this resto. I was tantalized to revisit when the friend referred me to some palatable menus on my first sitting. I raved about this resto to the parents for the past few weeks and we finally set our feet there.
I made the order and acted as a frequent patron of the resto. With my limit knowledge about their signature dishes, I ordered exactly the similar menu as I and the friend had the other day. Albeit having some recommendations on other menu, I didn't keen to take the first try.
Various kinds of congee are their main attraction. I ordered a portion of century egg congee. It was a decent portion that was filling but not overwhelming (for 4 of us).

Mom has vowed she will be back again someday. It feels great that the parents love it!

After the simple dinner, we dashed to the aunt's house.
Her newly renovated home has an attractive interior design. I snapped here and there for our reference.
We'll be moving into new house in another a year later, after the renovation done.
