Grandma

It was the other Sunday when grandma was working on the stove.
She once told us that her grandma is a Thai. So we are considered as Thai breed of human beings as well. Hehee.
You may see tis banana leaves are used as a kind of wrap in tis Thai cooking. Grandma narrated tat she has inherited tis recipe from her grandma. And it is correct tat we can't discover any vendor selling this kind of tidbit out there. I recalled there was a food fair in pasar malam when I was in Hatyai many years ago, and this glutinous rice and banana wrapped in leaves caught my attention. Tat was the exact kueh tat Grandma used to make. It is lucrative to have Grandma and Mom as the prime chef in house.
