正月初九

I never wanted to restore and resize all those snaps and let them appeared retarded here.

Learnt that they take akin tradition at many dots of globe. But I'm pretty tentative tat you go with this tradition or not.
The story goes that 正月初九 is the real day of 福建 ppl's 正月初一, they devote offerings for the deities, nore dedicated to 天公.
So, officially we'll bade new year greetings to the neighborhoods, donning new clothes, riding on the becak and maneuvering the small city (musing over the memories of the past when we were at 奶奶's place, still I can recall the bonding within us at tat moment. )

11 years after her passing away, we still stick on the tradition without her around.
Mom and dad are the one who bear nearly 100 percentile of all the required stuffs, me and sis onli managed to finish one-tenth of the whole things. Hah!
