A new nook

Me as the dwellers in this city for several decades reckon that Medan is growing, albeit it's not over surprising. But we could easily discover new nooks that allow us to explore and experience at least once in one or two months. I actually tend to stick to the default places which undoubtedly are the best we can ask for when we can't decide where to eat.
Yet, last Sunday we made our way to the considered as newly-opened coffee shop in the town. Located strategically in a tranquil site, surrounded with many mature trees.
It was our premier visit to Rumah Kopi Waknoer. And I'll utter that we will come back again someday.
We just had our brunch at Hermes Palace before setting out foot there, so we didn't place any order on hefty meal. Nasi perang will be more than sufficient to handle the tea time and it tasted awesome. Even Jia Wen fancy it very much!
I had lychee flavoured tea wherelse the others ordered for cappuccino. The old me always don't have the gut to gamble with coffee as I know I might be having night long torture for drinking caffeine at daytime.
Well, now let me elaborate more on this place.
We could say that we like this place quite much.
The owner made the efforts to maintain the house's old structure while at the same time taking the advantage to improve various details of the construction.
The cozy entrance offers some cozy places for those who are fond of al fresco dining.
One of the corner which attracted me the most is a set of white sofa which arrayed amidst the lush green plants, it creating a warm and calming ambience and it make this place feels like a secret garden.
Do you notice the ancient door and windows? Ya, as mentioned above, the owner maintained the house's old structure. The ancient color in this modern age is now popular. There are no luxurious chairs or tables to serve the patrons. Simple is beautiful. Another warm corner was found at the back of the area and is pictured in below.
Snug bar with low ceiling and multiple kinds of beverages, including the beers or wine.
Along with the soothing jazz music, we will come back here very soon some day.
