I was there to buy 2 kgs of char siew yesterday morning. It is a legendary char siew stall on the avenue road side. The stall is always super busy during lunch and dinner time.
I was very much sure that I won't be charged any extra denomination. But in the end of the day, I was befuddled by the lady's answer when she was asked about the 2kgs' price.
WTF???!!! It costs IDR. 350K for 1 kg weight!!!
At last, I awkwardly requested her to unpack and reduce the quantity. How the hell am I supposed to come out with the money to pay it? An implausible price!
